No Wrong Door Consortium
In the city of Austin, an individual could have their medical records and data stored in a multitude of locations: SDOH, HIE, housing organizations, community clinics, and criminal justice facilities. As it stands, there is no constructed framework for these institutions to transfer patient data, leaving gaps in the quality of care they can deliver. This inconsistency or lack of availability of medical records negatively and disproportionately affects undeserved populations such as those experiencing homelessness.
The No Wrong Door Consortium is pursuing a network where data can be securely shared and accessed by health and justice organizations so that people can get the treatment they need, regardless of where they are.
