Congratulations to the team at the Center for Music Therapy! Their Movement Tracks project, dedicated to creating new methods in music and biotech to help people walk again, is a finalist in the Health, Med, and Biotech category of SXSW's third annual Interactive Innovation Awards presented by KPMG. Each year, this competitive category recognizes the new technology that best improves the quality, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care in health and medicine.
The Innovation Awards Finalist Showcase on March 11 offers SXSW Interactive, Film, Music, and Platinum badgeholders a first look at 2017’s best, most forward-thinking projects in the fields of health and bio-tech, smart cities, VR and AR, AI and machine learning, privacy and security, responsive design, wearable tech, and more. Winners will be announced at the Innovation Awards Ceremony on March 13.
